Research and Planning: Clown Makeup Research

We are watching some videos with some tutorials on how to properly do Clown makeup as we want to make sure that we have the right idea when creating our own trailer. Some of them are helpful however I think that some of them might take too much time to recreate and we don't want to be sat putting makeup on the clown for hours as it will go into valuable filming time. Also we are going to be smearing mud and fake blood all over the clown's face so we don't want to spend too much time creating the makeup and then smearing it and ruining it anyway. The clown is meant to look old and dead, not like he's just come out of the circus.
