Research and Planning: Film Certificates
At our group discussion today, Emma and I had to discuss what we thought our Romantic film's certificate would be. We decided as it was a Romance film, a 15 certificate would be appropriate as this will give us the freedom to add more mature content, which our target audience would enjoy more than just a PG.
However, for our trailer we decided that it should be a 12A as this will allow us to direct the trailer at a wider audience, meaning that more people will want to watch the film, therefore creating a bigger synergy.
